~ Yamagata City purification center dedicated fuel cell ~ outdoor use in cold winter operation of sewage digestion gas power generation Fuji Electric Co., Ltd. successfully verified (in Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo, President: Kitazawa Tonwell) purification center in Yamagata City (Yamagata Prefecture) successful conduct of the use of sewage digestion gas fuel cell operating in the cold winter outside verification experiment, is hereby announced.
Summary of validation experiments
Previously, the company has passed METAWATER (located in Minato Ward, Tokyo, President: Haruo pine), in Yamagata City purification center set up our fuel cell (100 kW × 2 sets), and achieved good operating results.
The verification experiment was set up in the outdoor 100-kilowatt fuel cell a new (model: FP-100i), cold in the winter for use of sewage digestion gas power generation, to start and stop testing and operation modes, such as testing to verify that the fuel cell cold regions during winter operation reliability.
The experimental results verify
Verification experiment in January 2011 to March implemented through about 2,000 hours of operation, has confirmed that there is no problem in running performance.
